The Volunteer Poetry Coordinator is responsible for the process of reading Best of the Net nominations for Poetry. They coordinate and recruit first round Poetry Readers and Assistant Poetry Coordinators throughout the year. In addition, they help identify and recruit potential poetry judges for each cycle. On average, the Poetry Coordinator is expected to complete 5–10 hours of work per week between mid-October and mid-January, depending on the volume of nominations and other factors that might impact the reading schedule. There may be additional meetings throughout the year.
